Some moments are bigger than the homes we build. They're about gratitude, service, sacrifice and a community coming together to honor one of our nation's heroes.
Join Ladera Living and Building Homes for Heroes for an extraordinary celebration as we welcome U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Edwin Santiago and his family to their brand-new home at Ladera Little Elm!
Come Early for Coffee & Donuts! ☕🍩
Start your morning with us! A coffee truck and donuts will be onsite from 8–10 AM as we gather to celebrate this special occasion.
A Hero's Welcome You Won't Want to Miss!
10 AM – Patriotic Parade: Cheer on our Ladera homeowners, the Little Elm High School Band, Little Elm Fire, Police and Emergency Services, and the Patriot Guard as they lead a memorable welcome for the Santiago family.
🪂 Parachute Key Delivery: Look to the skies as a parachute team makes a spectacular arrival to deliver the keys to Staff Sergeant Santiago's new home!
🎤 Special Guests & Speakers: Hear from Little Elm Mayor Curtis J. Cornelious, Pastor Josh Youngblood, Danny Ellis, and representatives from the offices of Senator Tan Parker, State Representative Richard Hayes and Congressman Brandon Gill.
🏡 A New Beginning: Witness the heartwarming conclusion as the Santiago family is welcomed into their new home and begins their next chapter at Ladera Little Elm.
Bring Your Family. Wave Your Flag. Help Us Welcome a Hero Home!
This celebration is open to the public, and we'd love for you to be part of this unforgettable day honoring a deserving military hero. We'll have American flags available for attendees to wave as we give the Santiago family a welcome they'll never forget!
